Parkstone
Owned by Legend Homes’ co-owner Ted Clifton, Parkstone is version 2.0 of the iconic Bellingham Power House. When designing this home, Ted took all the things that worked great about the previous home and all the things we’ve learned since then, plus some, and created Parkstone.
The home was designed for the upstairs to easily be turned into an ADU when the local code is updated. The first floor has an aging-in-place design with spiral stairs installed to be easily removed and patched when the kids move out and the second floor becomes an ADU.
In total, the lot is 7.34 acres and sits at the base of Lookout Mountain. Ted wanted to give back to the community, knowing how important accessibility to the hiking and biking trails on Lookout & Galbraith is. So, he is working with the County/Parks Department to give a 10’ wide easement to connect to the trail system.
